Once you register for Intro to Food Science, please order a copy of the text. It is “Understanding Food Science and Technology”, Thompson/Wadsworth Publishers, ISBN 053454486X or 0534544878.  You can purchase it online at many booksellers, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, even Wal-Mart.  A simple way to find retailers of the book is to "Google" the ISBN number.  Please email Dr. Culbertson with any questions you might have.   Or call him at 614-688-4219.

We will open general registration for Food Biosecurity March 3rd, 2008.  To register please download the registration form and follow the instructions.  The course fee is $500 which is payable with check, credit card or purchase order.  Group discounts are available (10% for three or more from the same company during the first week of registration).  Most people FAX their registrations to our secure fax machine at  (614-292-2859).  If you would like to pay with a purchase order, please email Tina Gossard who will process your registration.  Upon receipt of your registration materials and email address we will create an account for you to use the award winning online course delivery system “Carmen”—which we use extensively here at OSU.   You will receive an email that invites you to activate your Carmen account and gain course access.   If you are a member of the Snack Foods Association, please register through them by contacting Christopher Melchert at 703-836-4500, ext. 211 (or email here) for more information.
